We turn children’s drawings into embroidered cushions, blankets, wall arts and rugs using either embroidery or hand tufting techniques- preserving every imperfect line, funny shape, spelling mistake, and little detail that makes it real.
And while one story is being preserved inside your home, another story is quietly being supported outside it.
Every WeaveAHope piece is handcrafted by a woman residing in some remote village and this work helps to create a stable income opportunity for her within the village itself during the non-agriculture season. If this work was not available to her, she would have been forced to migrate out of the village in search of a wage opportunity which would have interrupted her children’s education and disrupted her family’s social life too.
When your child’s drawing becomes a keepsake in your home, it also helps artisan families continue building their lives in theirs.
